I have gout help?

i have gout does anyone know how i can stop this pain

If you know you have gout, I assume you've been to a doctor who's diagnosed you, right? If so, they should already have given you medications. First of all, the first line therapy for gout is anti-inflammatories. You certainly can and should get these from your doctor after she confirms your diagnosis. However, you can also take ibuprofen, 800mg 3 times a day with food for a few days(assuming you're not allergic, and you don't have stomach, kidney, or bleeding problems). Other options are the medications colchicine or prednisone - both need to be obtained by prescription.

If you haven't been formally diagnosed - get to a doctor. Gout symptoms are similar to septic arthritis, an infection in the joint that can destroy the joint space - or you could have a form of arthritis that requires a different kind of treatment. Good luck.

The pain from Gout needs extra strength painkillers from your doctor.Following the strict diet for Gout considerably eases the attacks of Gout. Taking a teaspoonful of Cider Vinegar in a glass of water daily, helps to reduce the crystals that form around the joint of the toes, thus reducing pain. My sister has Gout, and keeps to the diet, and Cider Vinegar and she has reduced her attacks successfully. High purine foods in a diet can increase uric acid levels in the body. Therefore, the gout diet usually limits food with high purine.
Gout Diet / Low Purine Diet
Alcohol, especially beer, should be avoided. Limit alcohol consumption to 1 drink 3 times a week.
Drink 2 to 3 L of fluid daily. Adequate fluid intake helps dilute urinary uric acid.
Avoid High-Purine foods.Red meat,Bacon,Pork, are some.Consume a moderate amount of protein. Limit meat, fish and poultry to 4 - 6 oz per day. Try other low-purine good protein foods such as low fat dairy products, tofu and eggs.
Limit fat intake by choosing leaner meats, foods prepared with less oils and lower fat dairy products.
Aside from avoiding high purine foods, maintaining a healthy body weight is important for gout patients as well. Obesity can result in increased uric acid production by the body. Follow a well-balanced diet to lose excess body weight. Do not follow a high-protein low-carb diet as this can worsen gout conditions.
