Someone I know thinks she might have gonorrhea in the eye.? |
Someone I know thinks she might have gonorrhea in the eye. She was exposed to gonorrhea 3 months ago and over the past week she has been complaining about itching in her one eye, redness and discharge upon waking up. She had a shot of rocephin after being exposed but was wondering if that would have also cured gonorrhea in the eye? Does it normally take so long for symptoms to show up in the eye? What is the normal treatment when someone has it in the eye? I am concerned for her. Well, if she was treated for gonorrhea shortly after being exposed, I'm not sure how it is suddenly in her eye. i would def go back to the doctors... tell her to go asap.. it may not be gonorrhea.. but whatever it is.. she can get medicine for it |
