Scared i have gonorrhea?!?

i have a brownish discharge that smells fishy. no burning when i pee. i dont think i really itch, i'm just parranoid but i went on birth control sunday the 12th(day 1 of my period) and bled for a lot longer then my normal period....like two weeks and now the blood has stopped but ihave a brown gooey discharge that smells. I remember it hurting a little when i pee'd after i had rough sex but i assumed it being cuz it was rough and i was already sore from sex earlier since i just recently lost my virginity. I've never had unprotected sex and only one sex partner...so could it be gonorrhea? PLEAE helpi'm like panicing!

Don't listen to that crap. You obviously had a pap test done before the doctor gave you the pill so if you had something then it would have shown up. If you haven't switched partners since the test, then you probably don't have anything.

It sounds to me like it's the late stages of a period. The smell is probably from the bacteria that grow inside the vagina when blood gets trapped in the tiny folds of skin. No big deal. Use Summer's Eve if you're worried about the scent. It will probably go away on it's own in a few days, anyway.

The pill will cause some spotting and breakthrough bleeding in between periods when you first begin it, so don't freak out about that either. It's normal.

It will take up to six months for your mensus to completely regulate and until then you just have to keep breathing until your body gets used to all the changes.

You're worried because you just started having sex and it's all new to you. Stop worrying. Call the gyno if you are loosing sleep over it, and I'm sure she will either tell you what I told you or (depending on the results of your pap) will tell you to come on in to get some tests run.

Relax and let the horomones you are putting in your body take their course.

Hope this helps.

good lord- go ask the doctor this. yech.

go and have it checked out.

If you didn't have unprotected sex, then no. The discharge is probably just the side effect of birth control. I wouldn't worry too much, but if it's still lyk that after your next period, perhaps you should see your doctor.

I would go to your doctors to be checked. He may tell you to visit your local STD clinic at your local hospital-which is where you should go. Don't delay and abstain from sex of course.

Stop having sex and go see a doctor

Its doesn't sound like it....I would go and get checked out anyway....the discharge and smell are probably not normal. could be something simple.

here are the symptoms of gonorrhea...
Symptoms may appear within 2-10 days after exposure to an infected person鈥攅ven longer for women (up to 3 weeks).

Women

No symptoms 30-40% of the time

Gonorrhea may cause pelvic inflammatory disease (a serious medical condition that can lead to infertility)

Infection and irritation of the cervix

Need to urinate often

Itching and burning of the vagina, usually with a thick yellow/green discharge

Infection and irritation of the vagina (this is how the infection usually appears in children who may be victims of incest)

Bleeding between menstrual periods

Gonorrhoea (gonorrhea in American English; formally acute gonococcal perihepatitis), is among the most common sexually-transmitted diseases in the world and is caused by Gram-negative bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae. The term comes from Greek 纬慰谓蠈蟻蟻慰喂伪 (gon贸rrhoia), literally "flow of seed"; in ancient times it was thought that the pus discharge associated with the disease contained semen.

right!!!
go see a Dr
but thanks for sharing ewww!

You should being checking with your doctor, as those symptoms could be a lot of things besides gonorrhea!

I saw that movie, Godzilla vs Gonorrhea! Very enjoyable isn't it?

Regardless of what it is, you need to go to the doctor. It sounds more like an infection. That can really cause problems. Bad. I would rather have my parents really mad at me and be grounded for eight years that let myself stay infected.

The smell is... rotting... flesh eating bacteria. Well it looks like you are in big trouble....... that's the way HIV starts..... no more rough sex or sex .. the guy is using you...

Go see your Doctor, It can be a yeast infection, gonorrhea is poss-able, an infection in the injured tissues from the ruff sex, there are several reasonable conditions for this problem. The sooner you go to a doctor or free clinic the faster you will know and the sooner it will be corrected and the less damage that will be done. Regardless of what it is; and with gonorrhea the faster your treated the quicker your over it and the better off you are.

This is too important to just try to take care of it yourself. Go to a gynocologist, health clinic & have it looked at & taken care of!
Don't delay! It will only get worse. The openess of the system can lead to more complications. It's too complex to deal with it yourself. Get to a professional!
Also, get yourself a better sex partner! Anyone who is with someone on their first time & has "rough" sex has let their enthusiasm overcome your safety (and their obligations as a proper lover)! If they can't be gentle with you on your first time, get yourself a less selfish lover! (Bet that he's about your age, huh.)
You need someone who can put your needs, consideration & Safety first.
For goodness sake's, did you even have an orgasm? Did he at least do that for you? Someone who is someone else's first needs to be someone who is considerate & knowlegeable. (It's not rocket science to know that being with someone the first time is a Major Responsibility. You must initiate them in a healthy fashion & stick around to teach. And you must know enough to teach & indoctrinate in a fashion that will encourage a healthy sex life making for a healthy adult!) Anything less & you are with a selfish lover & unhealthy partner!
Get yourself taken care of & learn how to choose better partners. You don't want to make this a lifetime habit. (And so many do!) Picking proper partners is a skill & skills have to be developed to improve. Study hard!
Good Luck!
