Anyone contracted Gonorrhea, yet didn't show symptoms for weeks? |
I have been monogamous with this one girl for quite some time. But after a recent fight, I received oral sex from a less-than trustworthy other girl. It only happened once. Afterwards, I went back to my first girl, whom I am still with to this day. I have never been with anyone else. However, it seemed to hurt when I peed about 3 or 4 weeks down the line, and eventually, pus started to discharge. My first girl swears up and down she was not with anyone else. I believe her, too, since I don't think it would be possible since I was with her nearly every day (literally, both physically and sexually) since I strayed. Many people seem to think elsewise, than gonorrhea would only surface a few days after sexual contact, and that she must have cheated on me as well. Does anyone have similar experiences with this STD? Is this entirely my fault? The kicker is...she shows no symptoms. Can anyone explain whaty the h*ll is going on here? Serious replies only, please. now with stds you dont always have to get symptoms remember that symptoms are different for each person. just like each person can get different symptoms. now i hope you know you have to tell her and she needs to be checked because more than likely she has it. but if you used protection there is a chance she didnt come down with it good luck It depends on the person whether or not that the gonorrhea would show up sooner or later. I didn't know that I had it for a month and then all of a sudden I started having pain during intercourse and a green discharge so I went to the doctor and they treated me for it. I had no idea that I had it. My boyfriend at the time however, showed no symptoms of it at all. So really it all depends on if you completely trust her. You are going to have to decide if she cheated on you or not. Ghonorrhea often does not show symptoms in females. It is possible for males to be asymptomatic as well, but less likely. Furthermore, Ghonorrhea will never go away on its own, it has to be treated. A person can transmit it without eve knowing they had it. When symptoms do appear it is usually within 1 to 4 weeks. |
