Is there such a thing as incurable gonorrhea? |
The reason I ask is I went to the clinic & was dianosed with gonorrhea.I was then given a shot and 2 zithromax pills. The next day all the puss & pain was gone ,but it is now 4 days later & I still have a clear leakage and sometimes tingles, although there is no pain.Is it normal to still have some symptoms after 4 days or do I possibly have this so called uncureable gonorrhea& if so can the symptoms of it be treated.I appriciate any knowledge into this matter.Thank you. There are resistant strains of gonorrhea that are normally found on the West Coast and South America...resistant strains are curable... the treatment for them are more aggressive. There are resistant strains of bacteria this can happen in. If you are that concerned wait another week or so and then go for another culture. You have to give the antibiotics time to work. |
