If you have clymidia and gonorrhea, does that mean you have aids?

me and my friends were just talkin bout it and we never really got a sure answer,so i was wondering if any of yall could answer it truthfuly,if u have clymidia and gonorrhea dose that mean you have aids as well.....????????

No, you would have a sexually transmitted disease that's caused by a bacteria. AIDS is a viral disorder that is also contracted through, among other means, sexual activity. Chlamydia and Gonorrhea can be dealt with with antibiotic treatments - but, if you were to have them, you would not necessarily have AIDS but you'd wanted to be tested because you're a high risk person by virtue of having unprotected sex with infected people.

Nope. Those diseases are just sexually transmitted diseases/infections. You don't have AIDS when you have those. It's possible but that doesn't mean it.

No. People with either one of those are probably more likely to have HIV than the general population though.

absolutely not!!!! those are std's and can be cured

the /answer is NO / just /because/ you/ have an std /does not/ mean /you have HIV

No it does not mean you have aids it just means that you better stop sleeping with dirty people before you get HIV.

well no, AIDs is caused by HIV virus and clymidia and gonorrhea are STDs caused by different bacteria/virus so no, but if you got one std and you keep up habits that get you those STDs then most likly your gonna end up with AIDs at some point

Nope two completely different things. Clymidia and Gonorrhea are caused by bacteria, which is living. AIDS is caused by a virus, Human Immunodifficiency Virus. A virus is not living and requires a host. HIV usually dies when infected blood or fluid touches oxygen in the air. But don't take any changes, protect yourself. STDs are painful and embarassing.

no, but generally just to be safe, all people men and women who test positive for ANY STD are supposed to be OFFERED an HIV test. That's what i've heard, and I think any decent doctor would do so.

nope

no it means u have chlyamedia or gonorrehea......................
