Had a std test, it came back that i have a trace of gonorrhea, either false positive or first signs?

had a test, the result says there is a 'trace of gonorrhea' they said this means that its either a false positive, or its in the first stages and i have only just got it.
i now have to wait for over a week to find out, but i really need to know as if i do have it and its in the early stages it means my boyfriend has slept with someone behind my back recently and given it me, untill i know i can not b normal with him.
Does anyone know if its likely to b in the first stages or a false positive? i really need to know, i cant stop thinkin that he might have slept with someone else and given it me! help

Youll have to wait the week. If the doctor doesnt know, no one here will. And whatever you do, dont sleep with anyone until you find out.

wait the only way to tell is time. From now on use a condom. If you have only recently been with him then chances are he gave it to you .I would be honest and tell him today.Your Lucky if its just gonorrhea next time could be AIDS.This is a result of his and your risky behavior so he put your health at risk and this means he don't care about you or his self if he has unprotected sex with you then imagine who else.

why wiat to tell him...if you didnt cheat...then i would break a broomstick over his head over it...

yup he did your block is hot but at least he shared something wiht you

Symptoms of gonorrhea generally appear between 2 and 10 days after infection, although it could take as long as 30 days for your symptoms to appear. If you are a woman and are suffering from gonorrhea, you may experience bleeding after sex and frequent, painful urination. These symptoms are especially common in the early stages of an infection of the cervix. Later symptoms include nausea, fever, vomiting, bleeding between periods, and a yellow or bloody vaginal discharge.

how the hell can we tell you this....ask your boyfriend....wow!

its hard to tell , just stick it out for the week and you will know ,im so sorry

be patient. u dont want to accuse him and ruin ur relationship by showing him that u dont trust him, but dont engage in any sexual activity with him because if he did pass it to you then u are just going to keep spreading it back and forth. wait till u get the full results to decide on what to do, in the meanwhile try to keep ur mind off it and stay busy with something else...even if u do have it it's curable and in early stage its not dangerous to ur health.

Use protection! People are not very smart these days. If its your boyfriend and not your husband its probably a smart thing to use protection. You are lucky you got something thats treatable this time. You could have gotten a death sentence such as AIDS! B Smart and Protect yourself!

Wish you best of luck.
I am worried about me too.
