Does an enlarged goiter effect your voice?

For the past 5 years I been having a weak voice. According to my doctor, my vocal cords are in good condition however I have an enlarged goiter. You think thats the cause for my weak voice?

Yes, it's possible. You might want to consider having it removed. It can even effect your breathing.

I think yes, it would affect your voice. Anything that affects the timbre of the vocal cords will change the sound of the voice. For example, a man will have a deeper voice first thing in the morning when he first uses his vocal cords. Probably some women too, but it's been a while since I woke up with one.
