Multinodular Goiter Thyroid Question.?

I have been dx with a multinodular goiter - any body else have this? I am not able to see my endo until Nov and am worried about waiting so long. I have all the symptoms of hyper (except weightloss) - heart palpations, bad bad hair loss, sweats, trouble sleeping, confusion, moody and some trouble swallowing and breathing at night. My Dr. did not put me on any meds - got to wait to see endo. What do you think?

That's frustrating that you need to wait so long to see your endo. You may want to ask your PCP to make a call for you and see if they can get you an earlier appointment. Or ask for a referral to another doctor who may be able to see you sooner.

I ran into the same waiting game when I needed to see an endo for a thyroid nodule. I just kept calling different docs until I finally got someone to take pity on me and get me in earlier.

Multinodular goitre causes more cardiovascular problems than primary thtyrotoxicosis, which gives nervous system signs & symptoms like tremors, exophthalmos etc.
You will need treatment for hyperthyroidism as well as medicines to control cardiovascular effects.
Good luck!
