Does anyone gone thru goiter surgery?

in a few months i will let my goiter remove but its not malignant only its growing and no other way of getting rid of it only surgery. does anyone have same thing? what are the consequebces?

You do not need major, dangerous surgery in such a delicate area of the body to get rid of it. Do really want a surgeon near your vocal cords? Carotid artery? Parathyroid gland? Trachea?

All you need is a cheap, generic, prescription medication called methimizole. It will not get rid of your goiter all at once, but it will shrink, bit by bit, month by month, as you get better.

My mom had one because of her low thyroid, and she was fine afterwads, but they took the right tendon out of her neck. You will be fine, and in a couple of days you will feel perfectly normal.
