Is a High Thyroxine level gona cause me goiter problems? |
i did a blood check and my thyroxine level was 10.38 and the critical level was 11.00. I have noticed that my thyroid gland is a lil bigger than before as i can feel them when i massage the side of my lower neck. Im male and 22 years old. I need some advice. A high thyroxine level indicates hyperthyroidism. One of the symptoms (out of 12) is a goiter -- while it may not cause a goiter, you will likely experience some of the other 11 symptoms. I suggest you go to the doctor to have your thyroid checked out. Please see the webpages for more details and images on Hyperthyroidism and Grave's disease. |
