Is a High Thyroxine level gona cause me goiter problems?

i did a blood check and my thyroxine level was 10.38 and the critical level was 11.00. I have noticed that my thyroid gland is a lil bigger than before as i can feel them when i massage the side of my lower neck. Im male and 22 years old. I need some advice.

A high thyroxine level indicates hyperthyroidism. One of the symptoms (out of 12) is a goiter -- while it may not cause a goiter, you will likely experience some of the other 11 symptoms. I suggest you go to the doctor to have your thyroid checked out.

Please don't go by feeling your own thyroid, unless you have had much experience feeling normal and abnormal thyroids ... the changes are slight, take time to be learned, and are really the place for doctors. Just go .. it can't hurt and the doctor has the expertise to help. Good luck!

Please see the webpages for more details and images on Hyperthyroidism and Grave's disease.
