Does anyone on Yahoo! have glaucoma? I am sorry to hear you have glaucoma at such a young age. I have mild glaucoma and have been taking eye drops for it for about 10 years. The big difference is I am 65 years old. At my age, it is much more common. The type of glaucoma I have is very slow progressing. it is unusual for a young person to have glaucoma. Do you know about the different types of glaucoma? Did the doctor tell you what type you have? How old were you when it was discovered? All these are very important. If your eye doctor has not explained what kind of glaucoma you have and what to expect from it, you need to ask...and be sure he takes time to give you answers you understand. It is very important to be faithful in using your eye drops and having regular eye exams. I have listed a web site below that gives info about glaucoma. I Hope you do very well. I was diagnose with glaucoma at the age of 15yr.I know how you feel .Am using some drop called S BETOPIC that my doctor prescribed me . Report It |
