Is it possible for normal tension glaucoma to be caused by a blunt force to the ocular area? Meaning the damage is done, but the pressure alleviated after the strike, such as a punch or fall. Ok folks, I have been seen by a physician. Skull, brow and jaw xrays have been taken. I've been to my optometrist, and based on her suspicions am being sent to an opthamologist for further testing. So I am on top of things, but I need some concrete documented evidence as the accident I was in was not my fault and am filing a lawsuit. Any help is appreciated. Thank you for the serious answers. Yes, trauma to the eye can result in secondary glaucoma. If you have suffered a head injury of any kind, you should see a physician as soon as possible.
