Glaucoma and computer use? |
hi - I am a heavy computer user, and I have been seen for glaucoma for a few years now. My last checkup went better, in part because I finally started using the eye drops... computer use and your vision at the computer are not related all that much to your glaucoma. using the computer does not worsen glaucoma...it has no effect on your glaucoma. the 2 are unrelated. It sounds like yo do need special glasses for this distance of your computer. Also, try using artificial tears while using the computer. We have a tendancy to stare while on-line causing the eyes to become drier then usual. Remember to blink! |
