My father has glaucoma, so does his mother.? |

There are drops to put into your eyes that the eye doctor will prescribe if you get it. Just keep getting checked as often as doctor says to and he take care of you. I hope that you don't get it. You need to get your eyes tested. In the UK anyone who has a family member with glaucoma gets a free eye test. If your pressure are high, you will be prescribed drops to reduce pressure to 14-16 (acceptable values) if they are too high (22+) optic nerve damage will occur and this leads to blindness. Glaucoma, if left untreated , will eventually steal your sight. It does not come back. |
