Restoration of vision in the Glaucoma affected eyes?

Is it true that if damages have been noticed in the visual field then restoration of vision is impossible ? If that is so then how far is Microsystem Acupuncture helpful in restoring lost vision?
I am suffering from Glaucoma, I need to get reliable and serious answers.

its true becoz the pressure causes optic atrophy,u have to stay on treatment and keep the pressure within normal range below 18 is good ,nothing can bring back an atrophied optic nerve ,so regular visual field testing and IOP MEASUREMENTS AND MEDICATIONS +/- SURGERY OR LASER

My dear friend, I am an Indian by origin and residing in Poland. I am a M.sc in biology and physiology specialist, so I must have theoretical knowledge from books. But I am not writing to you to share my bookish knowledge. I would share a practical experience that happened personally to my little 2 months old son. I heard about his suffering with glaucoma case, when I was in 2nd year Medical college. Doctors then told me it was non-treatable case.
But NOW he is 20 and CAN really see, have been recovered by 80-90% from loosing VISION and getting BLIND.
So, friend believe me if YOU are treated appropriately YOU will able to see everything , all the colours of this world.
Now some answers;
1. Glaucoma is No such thing as you mentioned that the damage of visual field (pls. ask a doctor there)
2. Glaucoma is caused when there is a high lacrimal gland fluid pressure in side the eye-ball ( retina).
3. It is due to the mal-function of the glands, they tend to secret a lot of fluid than optimal need. As they are bigger than normal size.
4. The glands tend to expand in volume , so should undergo surgical operation
And, then my tiny 2 months- old boy underwent treatment
and his both eyes were operated 6 times in 5 months. Doctors said, there was no remedy than operation and blindness was cetain in future. Also LASER treatment.
So, I resigned and consulted another specialist in a bigger hospital. He underwent several dose of Creotherapy ( gland is frozen in order to stop developing) and it worked. At the same he was given pills and eye drops, so to down the eye ball pressure. HE CAN SEE NOW, really.
I am happy and I think you should go such therapy ( like as you stated) It will cetainly work. Acupuncture is OK!

Glaucoma can be controlled but not cured. Intra-ocular pressure can be reduced by medicines or by surgery. Medications may be in the form of drops or ointments to be put in the eye (topical) or oral pills. These medications act by reducing the production of the fluid in the eye, or by increasing its outflow. The doctor may prescribe either the topical or the oral medication, or a combination of both. Some of these medications may have side effects like blurring of vision, change in pulse rate, mood changes and drowsiness. Most of these effects are temporary, but the doctor must be consulted to find out more about them.

The ophthalmologist may advise surgery as the initial treatment, or after trying medications for a period of time. The basic principle of the various surgical procedures is to provide a channel for the drainage of the fluid in the eye. Surgery for glaucoma may be done using a laser or by conventional operation. The operation is usually done after anaesthetizing the eyeball. There is minimal discomfort. The operation usually lasts and hour. An eye patch is given which must be worn till the doctor advises. Medications to be instilled into the eye must be regularly used as advised by the doctor.

As with any surgery, there are some risks with glaucoma surgery which include:
