Is there a cure for Glaucoma?

What causes Glaucoma? Is the condition reversible? Can it be cured? Or at least, can the condition be slowed down?

the aim of glaucoma therapy is to keep the intraocular pressures under control by eye drops and/or surgery.the condition is not reversible, there is no cure but with proper treatment the deterioration in vision can be prevented.
