I have recently started eye drops (alphagan)for glaucoma & have become dizzy, every day. Anyone else?


This started approximately 4 weeks ago when I started with the Glaucoma treatment.The dizzy is not the room spinning but my equillibrium is off. I have had a lot of eye tests with lots of eye drops, as well as laser surgery on one eye.(laser trabeculoplasty). Now my stomach is bothering me as well? Before I was feeling GREAT!

Call your eye doctor and tell him/her what you're experiencing. He/she can change you to a different drop.

When I took Alphagan, I never experienced unusual equillibrium nor stomach problems.

I'm on the Alphagan too...have not had any problems with it...my glaucoma though is secondary to cataracts and is now compounded by three failed cornea transplants...My good eye is the green I was born with, my right eye is a very hazy blue...at this point they are just trying to keep the eye somewhat healthy...I had the trabeculoplasty ten years ago, but my pressure still rises at times...as high as 50 as low as 25...the last surgery I had for the glaucoma was the Ahmed glaucoma valve...
