My grandma, has complaint in her eyes. can you help me? glaucoma is a condition in which pressure inside eye increases. it may be of mild grade insidious onset or high grade rapidly developing form. former one is called OPEN ANGLE GLAUCOMA & later one CLOSED ANGLE GLAUCOMA. The symptoms are- coloured halos around light, initially loss of peripheral vision which later evolves in total visual loss, pain in eye, headache, vomiting, blind spot in vision, difficulty in driving in night. the treatment is - Tab. Acetazolamide, 250 mg ,1-1-1-1; Pilocarpine eye drops, 2 %, 3-4 times a day ; Latanaprost eye drops, 0.0005 %, 1-1-1. But i would suggest u to visit an ophthalmologist who can check u n prescribe appropriate medication. One sign is the loss of peripheral vision. blurred vision
