Can glandular fever affect other body organs?

My daughter had glandular fever virus.Since then she has had recurring painThe doctorsare at a loss as to what is causing these pains.People with medical knowledge please.

My daughter gets recurring stomach pain very few weeks and has periods of feeling very physically tired.

I caught gladular fever 4 years ago, and i had problems for nearly 3 years as it progressed to Chronic fatigue syndrome.

I had symptoms from stomach aches/pains, weakness, muscle aches, headaches, temperature disturbance etc etc

How long has your daughter had it?

What pains is she having?
Upper stomach pains can point to hep b, i assume they've checked for that.

Ask them to keep doing tests.

If she gets diagnosed with CFS especially. I know of a few people who were ill for quite a long time and they found out they had other treatable problems such as lyme disease, thyroid problems, etc.

EDIT: In answer to your question though - yes, the pain can be caused by the g fever.

After 3-6 months of it, is when they MAY diagnose
CFS /M.E/ FIBRO.

google for more and better sites.

Just tell her to take it easy. Rest is VERY important in a good recovery. Tell her not to push herself too much.

Keep going back to the doctors, they have a habit of dismissing you once you have the 'diagnosis'

Hope she feels better soon.

Oh and alcohol is a HUGE nono.

And eating healthier has been found to make a difference in quite a lot of people.

yes it can you need to take her to a different doc to what they say if she is in pain then you should call a doc up and see what they would recommed on her and see what they would say sorry for your daughter sickness hope she will be fine let me know
