My friend thinks that shes got glandular fever because her neck got cold? |
she went outside in the cold, she has got glandular fever and she believes this is why...i swear theres other ways...right? You CANNOT get glandular fever from the cold. Glandular fever is an infection and it can only be caught through contact with bodily fluids - i.e. through kissing someone, sharing a cup, etc. Glandular fever is a caused by the Epstein Barr virus - most people catch this virus as a child, but only some people get ill from it. (Although, if your friend had already caught the infection, going out into the cold probably wouldn't have helped! ;-) ) |
