I ended up in hospital with Glandular Fever earlier this year has anyone else ended up in hospital with it?

The Glandular Fever caused a bad case of Tonsilitis I ended up on a drip.

i had it a long time ago when i was about 13 years old. I had a severe case of it and was bed ridden for 3 months. My memories of it are ice baths to bing my temp down, laying in bed or on the couch every day and not having much contact with other people. I think the reason i didnt end up in hospital is because i was so young and i had my mum to take care of me and ensure i was properly looked after.
The reason you were put on a drip is becuae you would have dehydrated. You didnt replace your bodies fluids enough or fast enough. Hope you are all better now.
