Any alternative remedies you have tried that helped Glandular fever and....?

Also did you experience reoccurrences of viral symptoms and fever? My niece can't seems to shake it off. Any ideas why?

Some people have it for life. Do a search on here for "Chronic fatigue syndrome cure" and theres loads listed. Indications show that a good diet will help and not overdoing the partying will help too. Herbally, try something like echinacea which is good for building a strong immune system. If she experiences inflammation in the nymph lodes then see a doctor who can provide painkillers.

It does re-occur. One gentleman on the net says its like having a battery which runs out quicker than other peoples batteries and when its run out the only way to top it up is by resting. Eventually he became used to the sensation and when it was about to run out he took a lot of good rest. By not pushing yourself too much, it will make things easier and with time you will be able to do a lot more.

Remember - it is a virus which cannot be cured. The only way to get rid of it is for the body to build up enough defenses. Doctors reccommend not drinking alcohol and not overdoing exercise.
