Tonsilitis or glandular fever? |
I Have symptoms of both but I think I definetly have tonsilitis, I have depression anyway so i was just thinking what the symptoms are for tonsilitis? It is difficult to visit the doctor at the moment. my symptoms are white spots on my throat mt tonsils are all red i can't swallow, i am so tired but can't sleep, I ache everywhere i think my neck under my ears are swollen. I am pale, I also have red spots in my mouth on my cheeks. Maybe I have the plague!!!!! well you have to joke or i'll cry. You may also have strep throat. Have so ome check for white patches in your throat. . Gargle with warm salt water and be very careful if you start running a high fever. what r ur symptoms anyways If you've been kissing, it's Glandular Fever. If you had glandular fever you would be sleeping constantly so being tired and unable to sleep would suggest more tonsilitis. The white spots are a sign of infection in your throat which both tonsilitis and glandular fever are. With glandular fever you will usually sweat bucket loads at night. I have had both and they are both horrible....you should go to the doctors asap as glandular fever can only be treated by antibiotics but is easily diagnosed with a blood test. In the mean time gargle with soluble paracetamol and that will help the pain in your throat and hopefully be able to swallow better. Get better soon x |
