How is giardia treated in humans? |
I contracted giardia in Colombia over 10 years ago. Symptome free since then. Now the fatigue, constipation and foul smelling feces are back. I think the constipation came first allowing the parasite to multiply in the GI tract. Suggestions anyone? stool analysis if positive 4 tab of fasigyn one shot for two days will be enough You need to see your doctor and a stool sample needs to be analyzed to see if this is causing the problem. Then, antibiotics will be needed if it is positive for any of the unfortunate bugs that people can pick up. You might find it is some other problem related to your bowel and not a "bug". Get the stool sample analyzed - might give you the answer you need. |
