Cat throwing up foam. Not eating. Exam OK. Blood work pending.? |
Milo is one of my cats. He is 9 years old and neutered. He stays inside as well as my other cats. One of my other cats, Davis, is on medication for giardia, which I understand is quite contagious. He has no symptoms, other than blood in his loose stool. He is currently on medication for this. Goodness that is a weird one if he is fine according to the test so far then he had to of eaten something that didn't agree or he has what the other one has. I would try and give him his medication so maybe it can get to working on him, and just wait to hear from the vet on the CBC. You may have to see another vet if this one can't find anything since he is still sick. Good luck! He may be eating one of your house plants. He may have eaten something he shouldnt or hes just sick from something else. I think vomiting green is a good sign, because the stomach contractions have reached their full extent. My cat had similar symptoms. When she began to vomit green I rushed her to the emergency clinic where they told me her liver was failing. The green was bile in her stomach. They said they could run lots of tests and maybe try to treat her but it would cost about $1000 and they could not promise me she would get better. I could not afford the testing and decided that putting her down was the most humane thing to do. It was one of the hardest decisions of my life but she was suffering. |
