Can I have a false test for gestational diabetes ? |
I had a glucose test after my tea and couple of glucose biscuits. And my test came positive and doctor delcared me as a gestational diabetes patient. Does anyone have any idea that it can be false because of tea and biscuits I had half an hour before? My Dear Friend, Probably not. Depends on what the results were. there is chance to be negative. Try once more. Test it in some other pathological clinic with full fasting You should hav etold the doctor about what you had beforehand. If the test is taken fasting or not right after a meal, it is more reliable. |
