I Wish To Have Great Dental Hygiene Habits for Teeth and Gums. How? Can You Answer Questions? |
I'm very interested in having a very healthy mouth. I do have few minor gaps which I will be undergoing treatment with Invisalign in a week or two. Waterpik is the way to go. WIll get the nasty particles from between your teeth, massages your gums and you can clean your tongue. It's kind of like a powerwash for your mouth. always brush your teeth whenever you feel like it and if you grind your teeth so much try using a mouth guard thas what i do or bite on somthing. WOW,, you already have good oral hygiene, the invisalign you will be getting soon will help with the bruxing(grinding) as far as brushing so many times a day its OK as long as you use a soft toothbrush because if you use a medium or hard bristle you will get rescission of the gums, flossing is VERY important you not only remove your lunch from between your teeth you are also putting oxygen into your gums which is very important, also a water pick is advised especially with the invisalign,,,, make sure when your finished eating you brush and floss before you put your braces back in and also get regular check ups !!! your doing a great job..... sounds like you will have your teeth forever Personally, I see no reason to brush your teeth before your meals just brush after meals, when you awake and go to bed. Cigs, cocanine and other drugs you smoke do a bad work on your teeth. Drugs turn your teeth discolor your teeth and damage your body internally. You have a wonderful goal to keep your teeth your whole life and you can if you work at it. Floss(use Glide), use a good mouthwash, brush with a soft brush, a water pick sometimes, and you will be heading the right direction for a healthy mouth your whole life. Don't forget that the gums are just as important as your teeth in a healthy mouth. Brush your gums gently at least once a day and make sure the mouthwash gets up, down and all around your gums. Best wishes! Fantastic concern about your teeth and gums! Most 18-year-olds don't even think about their teeth/gums until they're very much in trouble. I'll bet your dentist is proud of you! Wow, that's great that you want to keep a healthy mouth. I am 50+ (I have all my teeth) and my secret is brushing with a Sonicare electric tooth brush (that helps prevent plack), floss after every meal and gargle with Listerine. The mouthwash prevents gingivitis and plack from forming. Get your teeth cleaned by your dentist every 6 months. some of these people who answered ur question hav to much time on there hands Baking soda is also good for your teeth, but you still need a good fluoride protection usually provided by medicated toothpastes. You may as well use Crest White Strips sample with hydrogen peroxide to help whiten teeth. Visit this site http://www.upkb.com/crestwhitestrips.php for oral care tips and product details. I use a medicated toothpaste for fluoride protection and brush my teeth thoroughly, while I also floss and wear Crest White Strips sample for whiter teeth. These invisible strips are a lot easier to use. You may also learn more about this product by browsing this site http://www.upkb.com/crestwhitestrips.php |
