Does German measles affect the menstrual cycle of infected women?


i am worried because i had rubella at the time when i expected my mens to occur and it did not come. i have heard that when a pregnant woman had rubella during her pregnancy, her baby is severely affected.

Any sickness can affect the menstrual cycle. Even stress can. Infection during the first 20 weeks of pregnancy can be especially dangerous for the baby. Rubella can cause miscarriage as well. The following two websites will discuss it further. Just double click on them to view:
