Can someone give me some infortion about German measles? how long is the incubation period and contageous prd?

Rubella (German measles)
Route of transmission through nasopharyngeal secretions, direct contact or by airborne droplets.
Incubation period is 16 to 23 days
Communicable period from 1 week before to at least 4 days after rash appears. Highly communicable!!

no one in america should get them anymore. We mostly all had a MMR shot, for measles,mumps and ruebella.
