Where, how, who, and when was German Measles discovered? Invented in 1969 by Dr. Maurice Hilleman, director of the Merck Institute for Vaccinology. In 1969, nearly 60,000 cases of rubella were reported in the United States. By 2000, only 176 cases were reported. AH, that was my ancestor, Eric von Pancho Vasquez! YES! You see, "ole pancho was on a ship as a cook, and one day he was told to paint the galley. [ they were complaing that it look awful, the galley!, not his food!] Anyway, the captain only had red paint on board, so "ole pancho went, got his paintbrush and started painting. Well, he happened to have a cold that day and was sneezing all over the place, spraying red paint everywhere! Well, These dudes from GERMANY were on board [ they were left behind by mistake] and "ole pancho happened to sneeze on them. You see , those german dudes would call the meal "measles', they could never pronounce the word meals. So, when 'ole pancho vasquez sneezed on them by mistake, they got these little red dots on them, hence the term " THE GERMAN MEASLES"!!!!!!!!!!!! OH, that was in 1636!!!!!! Ask any History teracher!!!!!!!!!! |

The symptoms of German measles can be so slight you miss them entirely. The light rash can come and be gone in a couple of hours or less. It doesn't cover your body and may be so light as t... The word 'german' actually has nothing to do with the country but rather most likely emanated from the word' germanus' [meaning similar] - which rubella is...similar to measles.... Not the same thing at all.in german the measles are ccalled"Masern" and the kids get shots for it. The chickenpox are "Windpocken" and the kids are usually not vaccinated agains...
