Genital herpes?!? |
I have a question. Online, it says that about 2 to 20 days after contact with an infected person, symptoms occur. Recently, I've noticed some cause for speculation down there, yet after researching, I am not positive if I have genital herpes or not. I will try to get to the gyno soon, however I am only 16 and will need my boyfriend to take me. See, that's the problem. We've been having sex for a couple months now, so if he has herpes, wouldn't I have seen symptoms then? But I'm not even sure if I do have herpes... I think it's just a few ingrown hairs because it usually occurs after shaving. The reason I didn't think it was razor burn was because there were like 3 bumps and they were really itchy and have been here for 3 going on 4 days, however all except one have healed and kind of gone away Okay, being that you say that it occurs after shaving, its could be ingrown hairs; however you do not want to rule out the fact that it could be herpes just yet. Being that you are 16, it may be hard but try to go to the doctor because you will only keep thinking about it. it might jus be razor burn. i get it after shaving and its usually gone within a day or two I do not have genital herpes, but I have taken care of patients with genital herpes. Here's what I know. Genital Herpes not only occur on the external parts but also on the internal parts. You would have some increased discharge and soreness. These lesions are uncomfortable. I believe you would definitely notice something going on down there, and furthermore your partner would have some lesions too. They look like canker sores or cold sores without the crusting You must go and see your doctor I believe you can have a blood test to know if you have herpes, since herpes shows on different ways on people who is infected its really important for you to be sure if you have it or not. sometimes people dont even know they are infected cause they dont show any symptoms or at least most of them ....now it could be just and after shave but if you doubt of a sexual relationship go and see your doctor i think u would be in some pain and discomfort down there by now if u had herpes. it could be in grown hairs. u may have had an outbreak by now. but some people don't experience any signs or symptoms. go to the gyno if your worried about it. your bf doesn't even have to be in the room with u if u don't want him to be in there. |
