Question about genital herpes being transmitted?

I have genital herpes. My girlfriend performed oral sex on me right after I caught the virus (I did not know at the time). Does this mean she got herpes? and if so, genital or oral herpes? If she got oral herpes, and I kiss her, will I too get oral herpes, along with my genital herpes?!??? that last question is my main question.

wah hoo is wrong, it is NOT safe to presume anything, people with herpes can spread herpes through something called asymptomatic shedding where the virus is present in the skin cells but doesn't manifest itself as sores. up to 70% of people get herpes when their partner doesn't have an outbreak, that is how i contracted herpes. oral and genital herpes HSV1 and HSV2 can infect either site, so kissing her can make you get cold sores from time to time, but considering you already have the virus in your spinal fluid from your genital herpes i wouldn't worry about kissing her because the virus is already in your system. many people have oral herpes, they are called cold sores. i hope this helped!

if you were not having an attack at the time it is safe to presume that you din't pass on the virus. However, be aware that you can get tiny blisters that you can't see and pass on the virus without knowing you are having a " microattack" You have the disease, be responsible and always use a condom from now on. You are a carrier and must be responsible and not spread the virus.

its a possability that she had herpes. u can also have herpes for a long time because it can lie dormant and not u even know it until u experience an outbreak. u would get oral herpes if she kissed u and had an open cold sore (oral herpes) or even if she didn't have one. if she gave u oral sex she could have transmited her cold sore to your genitals (its possable because thats how i got genital herpes, i also have oral herpes).
