Genital herpes treatments? |
im a minor and i think that i am having my first outbreak of genital herpes. i cant tell my parents so i cant go to our family doctor. i am not sure if the teen clinic provides medication for genital herpes to teens, does anyone know? is there any other way i can get medication without going to my normal doctor? Find the closest Planned Parenthood. They provide services and more importantly education to minors re STD, sex and PREVENTION! I would think that any teen clinic would help you out. That's what they are there for. You can also try and call Planned Parenthood and ask their advice. They might also have options for you. Just look in the phone book and give a call...they are there to help you. I am almost positive these clinics will take care of you! That is what they are there for! They want to prevent future spreading etc. Go see them. Just remember HSV is forever and will always carry the risk of spreading whether you have symptoms or not. You're not the only one with it though so be honest with partners, you might be surprised! The amino acid L-lysine fights the herpes virus.L-arginine can cause an outbreak.Foods high in arginine include chocolate, dairy products, meat, peanuts, walnuts, white flour, wheat. You want your intake of L-lysine to be higher than your intake of L-arginine.Check out the book Perscription For Nutritional Healing.Take probiotics.A good multi vitamin and mineral suppliment. |
