Chances of getting genital herpes by touching cold sore on lip and then touching genitals?

What are the actual chances of getting genital herpes from touching your cold sore and then touching genitals?

I would like to know what the actual chances of getting genital herpes are if you have a cold sore on your lip (Herpes Type 1), touch it, and then touch your own genitalia. Anyone who can provide a link with actual statistics on this exact topic will get 10 points on the spot. It seems like, while the risk is there, there is less chance with this than with, say, oral sex.

Please don't send me some link saying "you can get genital herpes from touching cold sores"....everyone knows that there is that chance. I am wondering what the exact chances of getting it are from touching the sore by mistake and then touching your genitalia.

Thanks.

Haha, good point , lol

I don't think you're going to find any concrete statistical information on this topic - not a lot of willing participants, if you know what I mean..
