What are the pros and cons of genetic screening/testing? prenatal screening? |
what are your thoughts on genetic screening/testing and also prenatal screening? Its all theoretical isn't it. I have a genetic condition. I am legally blind. I did not find out about it until after the birth of my two children. If I had known beforehand I probably would not have had children. Now at 50 I can realise that it has not hindered me at all. My daughter has the condition. I am not afraid for her and even though she worries somewhat she is reasonably confident. |
