What might be some of the positive consequences of genetic testing?

well you get to find out why the way you are by comparing your genes with your parents. Also for any health issues that may occur preset or in the futue.

You could cure diseases that you haven't obtained yet (IE cancer). you could know your risk factors for others and take preventative measures (obesity, heart/lung disease)
