Is there a genetic test for Parkinson's disease? Whilst advances are being made in this field, work is required to identify more genes. There is also a complication of mutations. I don't know the answer to your question, but in yesterday's (Sunday) New York Times, in the "Magazine" section, there was a REALLY good article about genetic testing. It pertained to a young woman who had Huntington's Disease in her family, and chose to get tested. |
