Balding Genetic Test-Wow were in the future....help serious question!!?

so i was in my genetics class i attend northeastern univ. (21 year old jockish kinda guy) and my teacher was talking about being a research scientist and the lecture went to how he helped research for this test you can take for 150 dollars online called hairdx.

ive seriously been stressing (not ridiculously bad or anything) about whether im going to go bald...i personally feel like im developing a noticable if you look carefully receding hairline.

anyhow looking back at my genetics literally half the people in my family are bald and the other half not.

ignoring the 150 dollar fee and deciding whether that is worth it; what do you think are the advantages or disadvantages about finding out sooner then later. should i take it, is there any harm in knowing something like that prematurely will it give me the ability to come into terms or something???

peopl who say look at your moms dad or dad or anything doesnt realize or have any idea about natural selection and how alleles are randomly passed on. basically baldness is linked to one gene this can be passed on from mother or father. even if both have gene it doesnt mean that youll genetic the gene becuase probability dictates that 'random combination' exists. this gene i speak of is testable and found in 95% of bald men that bald before 40.

look at your mother's brothers and her uncles on her mother.s side. for free you can get a good idea.
