Is there such a thing as a genetic blood test to determine what percentage of native Indian one might be?

I am told that I am prodominately Cherokee. I have also been told that there is a blood test that will not only show this but will will tell me of what degree I am.....a percentage of how much of my genetic make up is actually Cherokee. Does such a test exist, and where do I find this test?

I believe genetic testing has advanced to the point that it can determine etnicticity. It can distinguish an Asian, black. Latino, Caucasian, Indian, middle easterner, and generally determine from what part of earth, you came.

I have not heard that it can isolate certain American Indian tribes, such as you have described, but then, science moves quickly, it might be right around the corner, if not already here.

I heard about this before but I don't know if its available to the general public yet.

Yup,,they check your blood for feathers
