My mum just had a brain tumor remover, when it was tested they said it was genetic, what does this mean? Would probably mean that there is a great chance the problem is in the family. Higher chance of further generations having the same genetic problem and getting tumours themselves. so...you didnt think to ask the doctors who are qualified to answer this question then? Means it was inherited from your family. It was in her genes. You might want to watch out in the future. Could be passed on to you. It may be that your mother has a genetic susceptibility to developing a particular type of tumor, something she was born with. |
