Can People with Prader willi have normal height and have puberty at a normal time?

My daughter fits all the symptoms of Prader Willi except that she is normal height and hit puberty even earlier than I did. She has scoliosis, small hands and feet, fits that would alarm anyone, OCD, and sensory issues. She also has an insatiable appetite with and Iq of 70. Her brother just got tested for Fragile X, but the symptoms don't fit his sister. She is on a gluten free, caisen free diet, and should be losing weight as we just started a month ago, but has gained instead. She is officially diagnosed with PDD(NOS) and boderline intellect, but she has never had a MRI, genetic testing, an EEG or anything of the sorts. She has continued to regress as she ages. She also has no affect when speaking and limited eye contact.

I know they can be of normal height, I took care of a young lady with Prader-Willi that was tallker than me (I am 5'4). I am really not sure about the puberty issue, but anything is possible. The young lady with Prader-Willi I helped care for also had really poor eye contact, and her IQ was about 70. By "fits" do you mean temper tantrums or seizures? This girl had a lot of temper tantrums. A lot of the behavioral issues are common in children with borderline intellect. If you are worried, I would suggest contacting the Prader- Willi Syndrome Association to see if they can refer you to someone who can appropriately diagnose your child. The link for the US site is http://www.pwsausa.org/index.html

Good luck to you and your girl.
