I know that 130MM babies are born globally/yr. What % of these are screened at birth for genetic disorders? Perhaps 2%.. Genetic Screening isn't done unless there is a reason to suspect something wrong. The mother is over 35, the screen for Down's Syndrome.. etc.. Babies in general aren't screened. Their general apparent health is checked, and that's about it. few enough for the number to be insignificant,,0.00001% if that many. It is usually too expensive, and most healthy people have better things to do with thier money |

If someone has love for a child, they take care of them unconditionally, whether they have a disorder or not. If a child feels loved, then who are we... Risk factors for getting diabetes does include family history, obesity, age, and even race. You can read more here ... I'm not a doctor, but personally I didn't get my wisdom teeth taken out (because they didn't show up!) until I was 24...while all my friends had them out at 14...and I'm perfect... |
