How soon can you have genetic testing in pregnancy?

i have nf that a genetic disorder of the nervers . . i saw or read somewhere the it at 9 week ? is this true?

I have NF as well!! Neurofibromatosis. I'm not sure exactly when you can test it, but I hope for you and your baby that it is not there or it is mild.

Just so you are aware, with NF, it does not matter how severe or mild your case is, your child's can be any degree.

So, as for the guy above me, you probably are eligible for a genetic test because you (well we) have a genetic disease that is potentially severely harmful to the child.

THEY'LL ONLY DO A GENETIC TEST IF YOU HAVE AN ABNORMAL PAP OR A ABNORMAL ULTRASOUND AND YOU HAVE TO BE AT LEAST 26 WEEKS TO RECEIVE A TARGET ULTRASOUND TO FIGURE OUT ANY PHYSICAL DISORDERS
