Can generalized anxiety disorder be accompanied by agoraphobia?

It's common for a panic disorder to be accompanied by agoraphobia... but if a patient does NOT have a panic disorder but has GAD and agoraphobia, what would the Axis I diagnosis be?

they aren't the same thing. but you could have both.

it's the same thing - call your doctor and get help/good drugs as in antidepressants - you may have to try several types to alleive your problem - i have SO BEEN THERE - GET HELP!!! GOOD LUCK - Andra the old *** *****....:)

yes it can!!! and they are not the same thing! talk to your doc about your problem there are things that can help
