Do I have generalized anxiety disorder? |
I get sweaty hands, a dry throat, and adrenaline rushes once in a while but they usually go away in a short time. I don't really feel anxious or overly worried (only sometimes, but I'm sure everyone is once in a while). and I can still function in daily life without any problem. You sound like you are doing very well under the circumstances and I have to commend you for not being overwhelmed by those symptoms. If you had an anxiety disorder, they would overwhelm you and you would feel intense physical and emotional reactions to your anxiety. I hope you conquer the uncomfortable feelings you do have. Try taking slow deep breaths when they appear. It always helps me with my anxiety. doesnt sound like it - just a sympathetic nervous system thing. if it happens when you are around people you may have a little social anxiety but if you can function and everything than no worries. no g.a.d na your fine no i have it and trust me it's much worse than that.
