Do you think I have Generalized anxiety disorder (G.A.D)? |
I'm always worrying about things. I am NOT insecure. You definitely sound very anxious but you also sound paranoid and they aren't the same disorder at all. I would recommend that you seek counseling to be diagnosed by a professional if you are truly suffering from all of these symptoms and they are present all of the time. It feels like the end of the world being that anxious and there are ways to feel better. When you feel scared, try concentrating on your breathing and nothing else. Breathe deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth. Do this three times and then just breathe normally but concentrate on your breathing.It will relax you and it will take away some of those symptoms so you can regain your composure a bit. sounds like you have a little paranoia going on . for a definite answer you should see a counselor or psychiatrist w/e you prefer. you may also be very insecure based on what you said about your best friends lying to you. I have it and if I were you I would see if you can talk to a therapist before you end up like me.I'm a total mess now but I wasn't allways like this.It was just a basic uneasyness in public most of my life,with some underlying problems.I was able to cope with it ,or so I thought , until a few years ago.I was under a whole lot of stress and from what i'm learning everything just kind of hit me at once.So take my advice and get some help before it gets out of control and steels your life like it did mine. |
