Does anybody else have a generalized anxiety disorder? |
I always feel like I can't breathe sometimes, and I'm taking deep breaths more often then "normal people" I always twitch lots during my attacks and feel like my chest is tight and hurts. I avoid foods like chocolate and caffiene, because it makes my attacks start up. Mostly my attacks act up near night time, or if I start thinking my "what if's" too much. yes i do and without meds i feel the same way.doesnt it suck I have constant terrible anxiety. I have never been diagnosed with any disorders but I have only seen a psychiatrist once and it was for my depression (the psychiatrist didnt really help me much so i didnt go back). Xanax helped me quite a bit for awhile but when my perscription ran out I decided to try more natural remedies. I take a few different herbal supplements which have helped me A LOT, the most important one is valerian root. If I don't take anything I am always worried and anxious about EVERYTHING, it makes it hard to function some times. |
