If god loves everyone then why do I have GAD (generalized anxiety disorder)? |
My whole life is nothing but hell, he supposedly loves everyone but what about me my whole life is nothing but fear of horrible things happening which paralyzes my mind if God loves me so much why doesnt he make this pain go away!? Im so sick of life and its not even my fault every dream Ive ever had broken as soon as it was spawned, SO IF GOD LOVES ME SO MUCH THEN WHY DO I FEEL THIS WAY!? WHY WILL I NEVER GET BETTER!? WHY AM I SO HOPELESS WHEN ALL I DESPERATELY SEEK IS HAPPINESS!? How am I supposed to believe he loves me? I dont feel loved at all, all i feel is hate Just because God loves everyone doesn't mean everyone is going to have an easy life. God loves you, and as well you should love him back. It would help with the anxiety, as well as medicine if you are not already taking it. I've been where you are, and it's no picnic. You just have to hang in there, talk and hang around people who love you, and keep consistent on an anti-anxiety medicine. Love works both ways. You have to accept God in your heart and soul and then everything will fall into place. maybe your not putting all your trust in him. The more you trust God and pray to him and worship him and put all your faith and hopes and hand over your fears to him he will be there for you. God loves everyone but he can't make you love him. When you choose to love him and believe he is always there for you, his unconditional love and guidance will resound. Everyone has problems, i have Depression and anxiety, and sure its hard to believe that God would allow this to happen to his children, but he doesn't give us anything that we can't handle, what does kill us makes us stronger. You just need to learn that God is there, hes not going to fix everything just cuz you had a bad day and cried about it. Turn to him, pray to him, its ok to be scared and worried. Tell him about it turn to him and truely give him your all and he will be there for you. Look, God knows our lives are not perfect and HE doesnt want us to have problems like these. Please dont get mad at God because He made you special just like everyone else and He knows what you go through cuz He Died on the Cross for your sins! And He loves you, thats 1 way to show He loves You! He gave it all up for all of us, just so we wouldnt have to do what He did! If you trust God through these hard times, I tell you all you go through is worth it, to find that there is way more to life than you think!! God can heal you of these things, if YOU just Believe, and if you are a Christian like me,! If you are not a Christian, I can give you the Prayer to being one!! :) God has nothing to do with your feelings. You're believing lies from the enemy. God loves us all and He can and will heal you. Fear is a lack of trust in God. It is said that perfect love casts away all fear. That is what we have to have for God, perfect love and that is what we have to have in Him, perfect faith that casts away all fear! Read some of Joel Osteen's books and they might help. Take care!! sweetie, he loves me too, and i have anxiety as well. I know where you're at because I've been there. I hope you are getting help from a psychiatrist and that you are taking medication. From your question, though, it seems as if your meds. aren't working right if you are on meds. You need to call your doctor and tell him/or/her right away. Don't wait. I just wanted to say that I've been suffering from GAD for 11 years now... been on so many kinds of medicine.....therapy... hosipitals... etc.. My simple answer is that I don't believe in a god..You and I have a defect... One that has prevented me from going to college or leading anything close to a normal life... Along with GAD I have Trichotillamania... I pull my own hair out strand by strand... I really feel for you and hope you'll find someone real in your life to help you cope with your GAD... I'm still looking myself <3 XOXO good luck. I used to ask the same question as you do now when I had schizophrenia. I've had it for 11 years, but somehow I didn't give up, and I wanted to be cured, but I didn't want it for the right purpose. I wanted to become rich, I wanted this, I wanted that, and finally it was all those things that made me ill. My friend, first of all you must feel lucky. People that suffer from diseases are the God's chosen ones. Do you hear any blind people or people that cannot walk complain? The accept their problem and most importantly they do not leave it ruin their lives. Do not ask God to make your life better, do not ask him for answers. Just praise him, accept him in your heart and face your problems with a smile. Do that my friend and trust me, ive seen it with my eyes, everything is going to be better. |
