My doctor just gave me cymbalta for for generalized anxiety disorder and some pain management.? |
Should I take it . Has it worked for anyone or anyone had bad reactions? I took it in a research study and it does work. Your body has to get used to it though. I really felt like I was in a fog for the first week or two that I took it. I wasn't very hungry and had no energy. Whenever I was riding in the car, I dozed off. My boyfriend pretty much had to take care of me. I am not sure how I even managed to work! The doctor explained to me that anxious people are used to being kind of wired. The medicine takes you back down to where you should be but when you are used to being so "on" all the time, the time, you have to get used to being more relaxed. I did get used to it and then I felt fine. The main side effect that I didn't like was weight gain. If u r depressed i mean really depressed & u want some changes & 2 feel better i can not think of one reason why u shoulde'nt @ least give it a try. its not like its some street drug ure DOCTER gave it 2 u so ure doc im sure feels that u will benifit from this med. hope u feel better good luck!!!! I take it for diabetic neourapathy and it works quite well. I was already a pretty happy person, so if it makes me even happier I don't know and who cares, I have not noticed any side affects He gave it to you for a reason, why are you hesitant to take something designed to make one feel better? Stop questioning, and take the medication as directed, it is very important to take it as directed, otherwise, you may set yourself up for bad reactions. Hopefully, a more positive outlook will help with your symptoms. |
